Federation in CASCOM

The following pictures shows how WSDIR Federation is set for the CASCOM project. There are 3 Network layers : hidden, top and body.

The search operation given the policies we are using produces the following interaction:

1. A client sends a Search request to the TOP2 Directory Service.
2. This Directory Service propagates this request to his siblings and his child
3. TOP2's siblings also propagate the request to their childrens.
4. Finally TOP2 Directory Service returns 5 services to the client.
