NEW Poster formatting instructions

For accepted poster abstracts

For the display at the conference, we ask you to prepare a poster of max. dimensions A0 portrait (approx. height 120 cm, width 85cm).

In addition, you will have to occasion to present your poster in a 2-min poster spotlight to the audience in the conference hall. For this occasion we ask you to prepare a max. of 4 overhead slides to be presented on a "traditional overhead projector".

Please use the following templates to prepare your abstract for the EPFL-LATSIS Symposium 2006:

Note that the given templates above have the following formatting features preset. However, before you submit please make sure that the following still holds:

A4 paper
max. 2 pages
2.54 cm/1inch top/left/right margin
3.17cm bottom margin
double column
include figures and references
Font style: Times New Roman
10pt font size
Don't forget name & adresses of all authors

Submission deadline: January 27, 2006
Notification of acceptance: February 3, 2006

Abstract submission

Please send the abstract in PDF format (max. 2 pages) and source file (i.e. *.tex, or *.doc) file to Jonas Buchli not after January 27.
