Instructions for Abstract Submission for Oral and Poster Presentations

 

  1. Subject Matter.  The Scientific Program Committee invites abstracts on neuroscience-related research. Abstracts pertaining to subject matter areas shown on the abstract form are encouraged. 
  2. Abstract format.  The body of the abstract should include an objective, methods, results, and conclusions.  It is strongly suggested that you prepare your abstract first as a Word document. The dimensions of the abstract form are 14 cm (horizontal) by 16 cm (vertical). Use Times New Roman font, font size 12, single spacing 510 words maximum.  Copy and paste this document into the online abstract area. Do not use the area  "summary."
  3. Rules.  Abstracts should be original and should not have been published or presented at another scientific meeting.  Updated information based on additional data or revised analysis since prior presentation is acceptable.
  4. Deadline.  Properly completed abstracts must be received by June 1, 2006.  Incomplete abstracts and abstracts received after this date will not be considered.
  5. On-line abstract submission.  All participants are asked to complete the registration form first !! Those not registering but submitting an abstract will not be considered.  

 

                                    Line 1: title in bold font

                                    Line 2: authors' initials and surnames in bold font

                                    Line 3: institution - name, city, country only (not bolded)

                                    Line 4 to end: Indent paragraphs 3 spaces; do not skip lines.

                                    Figures or drawings cannot be inserted, nor can super-or subscripts. 

                                    For exponential notation, place the exponent in parentheses

 

                Greek letter mu, alpha and beta : press alt key and type either 230; 224 or 225.

                Mathematical symbols "approx"; greater than or equal;  less then or equal ; and plus or minus:

                                                        press alt key and type either 247; 243; 242 or 241

 

5d) Upon submission of your abstract, you will receive an automatic confirmation that your abstract has been received by the conference committee. More than one abstract may be submitted.

 

6)     Notification and Presenter Information. Notification of abstract acceptance will be emailed.
