Our UHV setup combines deposition of mass-selected clusters, a home-built LT-STM for in situ characterization of morphology and electronic properties, and a new home-build device enabling dynamic reactivity studies on surface with very small amounts of catalytically active material. This combination allows for a direct correlation between surface morphology and catalytic properties of model catalysts.
