The main interests of the group GPAS are the properties of supported clusters, their interaction with the supporting surface and their catalytic activity. The interest in clusters is due to their surprising properties. Clusters have a size somewhere between the bulk and single atoms but their properties can be signicantly dierent from the properties of both the bulk state and the single atoms state in absolutely astonishing ways.
